Unfortunately I don’t have a video on this, but I will explain to you in a few easy steps how to make this pastry.

Cheesy Jalapeño Popper Pastry puffs:
Ingredients:
- Puff pastry cut into 8x8cm squares
- Freshly chopped Jalapeños
- Any of these meaty fillings: Bacon pieces, Vienna pieces, shredded chicken, diced ham, pepperoni diced or any cold meats
- The cheesy sauce filling:
- Béchamel sauce
- Grated cheese
- A pinch of turmeric (brightens the cheese sauce. Only a pinch is enough, the taste can be very overwhelming, this is only for the color)

Method:
- In the puff pastry square cutouts, add in the middle a bit of the chopped jalapeño.
- Add a bit of the meat you choose (bacon, diced Vienna’s, shredded chicken, diced ham, pepperoni diced or any diced cold meats)
- Prepare a thick béchamel sauce (milk, all purpose flour, 2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. pepper)
- Add grated cheese
- Add a very little pinch of turmeric to the cheese béchamel sauce for the color.
- Pour over the rest of the filling, but not too much.
- Bring the pointy ends of the puff pastry together, sealing the sides of the pastry, by pressing it together.
- Turn the pastry around and place on a sprayed baking tray.
- Pinch a small hole or two on top of the pastry with a toothpick.
- Put in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 35 – 45 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
