A delicious way of making butternut as a side dish. Only use 4 ingredients. It is a quick and easy recipe to follow. Your family and guests will love this bite!

Here is how we did it:
Cinnamon Butternut Squash
Ingredients:
- Butternut squash peeled and cut in half
– Melted butter
– Sugar
– Ground Cinnamon powder
- Sunflower seeds for garnish before serving.
Method:
- Peel Butternut squash and cut in half.
- Make slices but not the whole way through.
- Place on a sprayed, foil covered baking tray
- Melt butter and pour over the butternut.
- In a separate bowl mix sugar and cinnamon powder.
- Sprinkle on top of butter covered butternut squash.
- Bake at 180°C for 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Serving suggestion:
- Sprinkle with sunflower seeds before serving.
