This meal takes me right back to my childhood, where mom usually made this before we went to school and just putting the crockpot on the lowest setting, she knew leaving it, it would be done by the time my dad came home from work.
\This is a very delicious and no effort meal to make. If you add already cut veggies, it will save you a lot of time. Especially pre cook the potatoes to go faster.

Crockpot Chicken Stew
Ingredients:
- Pre cooked potatoes
- Chicken
- Green pepper
- Red pepper
- Yellow pepper
- Mushrooms
- Mixed diced veggies
- Roughly cut onions
- 1 cup water
- 1 chicken stock cube
- Mixed herbs
- 4 cloves
- Garlic
- Salt and pepper
- Chicken soup powder or mushroom, 1 tablespoon soup powder mixed in 1/4 cup water.
Method:
- Add everything to the crockpot except the soup powder and 1/4 cup water and chutney.
- Set Crockpot on high for 2 hours.
- Add the soup powder mixed with water to the pot and set on lowest setting for about 2 – 3 hours.
- Add a bit of chutney afterwards.
Serving suggestion:
Serve with rice.
