Easy, sweet carrot side dish for any meal.
This delicious recipe got us crazy over carrots. Its so quick and easy to prepare.

Baked Carrot dish
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tsp. Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups finely grated carrots
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 eggs
Method:
- Pre heat the oven to 190°C
- With a fork in a big bowl, combine all the ingredients together.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
- Press in the middle with a toothpick and see if it comes out clean, to test if its done. (just like a cake)
Serving suggestion:
- Serve as a side dish with any meal
